Indicated for treatment of serious urinary tract infections and prostatitis caused by susceptible gram-negative aerobic bacilli

Do not use if hypersensitivity to carbenicillin, other penicillin or any component
Use with caution in patients with history of hypersensitivity to cephalosporins
Mechanism of Action
Inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to one or more of the penicillin binding proteins (PBPs)
